Bullying comes with consequences with the law. “The consequences in North Carolina- Under 14-458.1, defendants who are over the age of 18 and engage in cyber bullying are charged with a class one misdemeanor.”17 If the defendant is under the age of 18, they are charged with a class two misdemeanor. They are taking action for bullying, not only them but across the world some states do take bullying not tolerant.
